Frequently Asked Questions

  • If there’s no ‘framed’ option for a particular painting or print on the product description, and you’d like me to frame the picture, simply get in touch and I can usually arrange whatever you’d like - obviously this will take a few days extra, depending on the request…

There’s another option: I can send your picture to a framer near where you live, if you let me know before/just after purchase… and then you can pick up the item from the framer when it’s ready. (This is especially useful if you’re buying a gift for someone who lives with you!)

  • I’m currently researching the best ways to send my artwork to other countries, without risking damage to my work, or incurring excessive costs for customers. If you have any good suggestions, please get in touch!

  • Normally, I use Royal Mail (1st Class/Tracked/Special Delivery etc), and sometimes DPD for larger items.

  • If you change your mind after you buy any goods from my website shop, regardless of the reason, you are entitled to a full refund -providing you inform me (via email/phone) within 14 days from the date of delivery.

You will need to return your item to me at your own expense, and I must receive it in the same condition it was sent. Please photograph your item before you send it back to me, since you might need proof should the item be damaged in transit.

No refunds are given for commissioned artwork.

If you have any further questions, please get in touch.

  • Firstly, please take a photo of the item as you received it - both the entire package and the damaged parts.

Secondly, get in touch with me (via email/phone). I’ll need you to send me the photos of the damaged item, so I can claim on the courier’s insurance.

Thirdly, as soon as I get useable proof that the item was received damaged, I will send you a replacement item. (You may have a refund instead, if you prefer.)

  • All the art materials I use in the production, presentation, and packaging of my work are of the highest standards available. I have spent considerable time researching every last detail, so you can be confident my paintings/prints will last a lifetime - at least!

I only use ‘conservation grade’ 100% acid free and reversible materials for mounting/presenting my work. For instance, my pictures are mounted with removable, water-soluble tape. All pigments/inks used in original paintings/giclee prints have passed the highest standards of Lightfast testing, and are guaranteed for over 100 years when exposed to normal interior conditions, and when framed correctly.

All packaging materials are recyclable and, in some cases, made from recycled paper/card in the first place.

Note to Vegans: I am phasing out my use of non-vegan paper (i.e. papers using animal-derived sizing). But since I have a lot of paper in stock, this will take several months. I will amend this note when the job is done. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Currently I don’t teach, but if you’re interested in the idea, please let me know… It’s something I will happily consider, should enough people be interested.
